Ah doesn't really bother me. There's always someone out there to hate, and someone always making more power than me. I'm glad that I built something capable of much more than what it currently puts down, so meh.

Just one question for you real quick... at 5000rpm when you stab the gas, how fast does the turbo respond?

I feel like I may miss the response of the TS setup when I get the .82 housing in a few weeks. Hopefully the response isn't that bad. Power vs Response...

I guess if I really was out for all-out response I would have chosen a Disco potato or at least a smaller turbo lol. They would've made the same power

I love your numbers, now you just need more boost. I hate those peaky powerbands! They are fast, but I would like to have something a little more broad. You should rev to 10K lol.

its not a ve head so idk if that would be possible on a lowport head. When I was riding in it I know i would get pushed back into my seat, we both know its going to be a little laggy but when that bitch spools its all out chaos.

Ya I think the response shouldn't take a huge hit, especially when you can rev a bit higher. When I get the housing I can see how far that will take me, then invest in some valve springs in the near future.

for you it will be amazing because it will just keep pulling. I know on my sc61 I just want more revs to keep it going but i cant which kind of sucks.

The turbo response is excellent above 5Krpm when I mash the gas. It's not instantaneous, but it's god awful fast. I'd say that if I were to do a roll from 5Krpm in 4th gear, that by 5800rpm I've got full boost. 5th gear is stupid quick, too. I've taken the motor to 9Krpm more than a few times with no issues. I want dual valvesprings for a higher safety margin, though.

10K isn't highly likely, but 9K definitely is. I don't know that I'd really need anymore than 9K. Just need to be able to tune to 9K.

Valvesprings FTMFW. Absolutely zero float with the BC springs, so your head with dual valvesprings for the VE will give you a much better margin.
