Thanks for the comments guys.

I'll scan the dynocharts when I get a chance (at work when I'm home from the convention).

Makes around 275wtq and 411whp (still climbing) at 7800rpm. Torque is low because the turbo isn't even really awake/alive yet at 12psi. (it's actually 11.3 according to the guys that tuned the car, but I rounded it up for simplicity).

At 5250, it makes ~255whp/wtq IIRC. Didn't really look at that region of the chart, and it's in the glovebox.

I'll give you a hint.

It's more than 400whp corrected, and less than 1 bar of boost.

EDIT: Since jenny ruined it: 411whp @ 12psi.

and I had to drive to GA to find out!

Car FELT like a monster!

Now, not so much

Not even 30 miles from the hotel here in NJ, the car developed that wonderful marble throwing sound as I took two 180 degree turns into the EZPass toll booth. I limped it to Morgans432's house, and we're trailering it up to the shop Saturday morning to rip the bottom end off and see what we can see.

Apparently our motors don't like prolonged periods of 4500rpm stretches. I don't know WTF is happening to all the oil, either. No dripping on the ground, not burning any oil at least visibly.

Never using 10w30 again, and DEFINITELY not Mobil. That crap does NOT last on long stretches like 840 mile cruises.

Oh, and so everyone remembers, VE Oil Pump, ACL race bearings, the whole nine. I hope the crank isn't scored at all. More to follow.

yeah that sucks man, i dont know what the hell is up with all the rod bearing issues, haha must be a bad weekend for the convention with all the people getting rod knock. Yeah hopefully its not too bad but with 30 miles put on it while knocking that might not be a good thing for the crank.

Maybe its a synthetic oil thing, I use mobil1 10w40 on mine and really ive had no problems with rod bearings. Maybe using regular 10w40 or 15w40 would be a better solution keeping a thick cusion instead of thin synthetic oil. hmm

so did you run it low on oil as well. Thats what i got from your post. Weird
