Just use the regular det bottom end with the ve head. Sell your running ve engine, n20 set up, the stock t25, 370's, det head etc, and buy whatever parts you dont currently have. That should generate enough funds for you to get a t28 some 555cc injectors and a new calum chip. And you may make your hp goal this year. Then you may be saying 400whp by 2010.

i plan to sell my ve set up when i get the motor out and that is what will pay for upgrades, for sure. i would love to see 400whp, but my thing is i dont wanna get in to rebuilding the tranny.

YRMV, but IMO the VE head on a DET bottom end wasn't very impressive to me. I've been in a few now, and the first ride was pretty nice considering it was in a B15. The others, not so much. I expected a lot more from a VE head on a DET motor, but didn't experience it. I voted "do nothing", since you didn't have a selection for "do something else".

I voted nothing. Building up the suspension, brakes, throwing a cage in it, and hitting up the road courses. If you like adrenaline its the way to go .

If you really need boost though I'd probably suggest just keeping the DET. You don't need a gti-R or a VE/DET for 300whp.

Since your in ontario you can hit up Tiger Japanese and just pick the motor that seems the best to you.
