i just guessed logicly, cuz for only 11psi with no cams 256whp is pretty high numbers for that boost level. But i know Ben's tunes have always been pretty dang good so i can see some benefit from that but hell not no 300whp haha must have that JDM YO 2.7L freak SR20 motor that you can only get ahold of a week before Race Wars. haha

Thinking back on it, I'd loved to have run the contest differently. I should have allowed people to guess the same number (and figure out a good tie breaker). That solves the problem you pointed out Snickers, and it also gives me more of what I wanted (what people think I should make, not "oh my guess is taken, time to find a number close").

Hind sight is 20/20 I guess.

Next time I'll do it better. Chalk it up to a learning experience. =/

Well you did type "first come first serve" so that solves the problem of multiple entries for the same number.
