nice numbers. but i find them a lil odd, well to me its confusing.

my car makes 280whp 260wtq @ 16psi t28 with s4's @ 3 bar. (its super rich and needs to be tuned)

but why does your motor make 20 more whp but wayy less tq ?? although your peak power is made 700 or so rpm later then mine but it holds the power for much longer then mine.

ugh i need to get my **** tuned.

stratton.

Stratton, what rpm is your peak torque? Or better yet, do you have a dyno sheet you can post?

Ben, what Air/Fuel were you tunning at? the 12:1 like the one thread you were talking about in that one tunning thread?

Yah, sorry I left that out of the description. Fuel was dead on all night (street tuned it earlier) at 12.0:1 A/F ratio.

stand alone engine management will always give you better numbers because of what you can adjust with one. You cannot compare a off the self program to stand alone. Most people just don't want to kick of the money for one. Congrats Ben..

good numbers i was pretty close with my first guess of 300whp. i have seen some great things with a good standalone tune. now get get out there and enjoy the car.

Stratton it's all in the tune bro. If you had 100% tuning control on your set up you would make well over 300 whp. You yourself said you made 280 whp running rich. Imagine cleaning up that fuel a bit and being able to adjust your timing. You would drop some wicked #'s.

I for one am a huge fan of standalone ECU's. Best money I have ever spent honestly.

Ben what standalone are you using? I am running a EMS Stinger 4424.

I wasn't that far (310WHP) LOL

Congratulations, I know I should be impressed but coming from somebody who got 150whp on a "stock" SR20DE is previously expected

He has the VEMS.

EDIT: I heard the VEMS runs Megatune is that correct? And that its somewhat similar to Megasquirt but much more advanced?

Correct, however VEMS now as its own interface software, so it doesn't require Megatune.

VEMS has built in Wideband, EGT, 8 Fuel and 8 Ignition drivers, plus many other I/O's. It can run fully sequential ignition and fuel.

AEM is better though.
