if you are going all out on over bore and so forth like it seems you are, then ve head is the only way imo. anyway to answer your questions, valves will clear fine, i am running 8.5:1 cp det forgies in mine sor they will come to 9.3:1, and they will still clear. Masworxs has some ve turbo pistons for sale now too with heeps of clearance.
yeah she will bolt up fine just minor mods that you have mentioned will need to be addressed. Its not all that hard really.

Thanks for clearing that up bro and good to see someone .. Make sure to post some pics, I plan to put my swap in a S13 as well so something to reference will be great. I think once the swap is done and proven more RWD SR lovers will go VE as well. I was considering doing the SR/VE swap into a AE86 but try to stay away from cross breeding as the project once complete will be up for sale
