The ve-t build...
Well since my RR motor gave-up a cuple of days ago.. this was the excuse to build ( what its was going to be) the ve-t .
The plan is.. (first) just put the setup that was in the sr20
the hybrid borg warner 62mm with the custom manifold etc...everything the same.. on a stock sr20ve motor..after that Im going to play with cam switch and then with the turbine housings... I think this setup will be puting max hp at around 8500-650rpm on stock 2.0ve cams and the concurrent 1.15 turbine housing( Im only going to rev the stock motor to 8000rpm for now) I got 2 other srve powered motors more.. (total 3) 1 16ve ( Im going to start the build of the other sr20ve now ..cp pistons manley rods etc..)
The build motor will have 100lbs bual spring and retainers from supertech( planing on rev this motor to 9500 rpm)
sr16ve cams
spec-v trans
The idea its to have a nice flat powerband from 5500 to 9500 rpm another turbo its allready finished its a gt4088r and a hx40 with the 14cm2 turbine housing ( this turbo would get fullboost at aprox 5200rpm and have a flat power deliver to 9000 rpm aprox..)
This is for now.
Pics.

Cheers.

you are right my friend.. I want it to see how much boost 11.1 motor can handle... Im 99% sure it can take 25 lbs before it start getting some knock.
Cheers.

yea my 10:1 holds 18psi fine, but this is a whole different story. The 11:1 should hold it for a while at least.

What motor its 11:1 ?? The SR20VE???
I think its more like 10.3:1 jejeje..
If you took your RR DE to 29psi that its 9.8:1 .5 more and a lot of knock resistance you should be fine with your goal....
