So you boost the stock motors and basically control for knock? I am guessing the meth is the key here along with tuning and size of the turbo?

yeah exactly, put it this way i hit 21 psi on a s15 t28 and got detonation with 100 octane race gas in the tank (too much heat), then i take a 160k motor and hit 28 psi of boost on a 60 trim t3t04 with an .82 turbine housing and had not detonation at all with 110 octane race fuel in there. Pistons are clean just like his with no sign of detonation. This was on a bone stock motor even down to the headgasket, for one my tune was a hell of a lot better but the motor still threw the rod out the block cuz the #3 lost oil to the bearing and siezed. So yeah but at least the tune was good. So now i feel safe putting my $2k build into the car now without really worrying about it.
