high flo , low pressure fuel pumps
ok, probably been adressed, if so i apologize ahead of time. basically, i want to run stock fuel pressure, with a pump that will flow enough to support 300-350hp. i have had a few walbros, they seem to up the fuel pressure....i dont want to buy and adjustable regualtor. im assuming the 300zx fuel pump is the answer. if so, can anybody tell me if that pump is the same as a infinity j30 pump? becasue i can find those all the time at the junkyard. eh, it was just on my mind. its a low budjet setup, i dont want a regulator, just want a good pump.

i know people that run stock pumps on t25 but there between 225 and 275. I dont know if the stock pump can support whp upwards of 350. Theres a thread on here that debates how much the stock fuel pump can take.

so you want to run 300-350 hp, yet wont spring 100 bucks on a Nismo FPR? There are a few benefits to running 4 bar..

Does the fuel pressure really rise with a Walbro 255HP unit? Didn't seem to on my car, and there's no reason it should. Maybe if your fuel filter is old/full.

I think if thats the case your stock fpr may be going out. The fuel pressure shouldnt go up just by changing the fuel pump to a walbro 255. I have one on my g20 and its pretty much stock. I have a pop charger and a 2.5" catback and also a fuel pressure gauge on my g20 and the fuel pressure hasnt gone up since i changed the pump.

This is just my experiences with it, yours may be different.
