Got my wideband on today, it was reading low 12's at WOT in the 22lb boost range.

yeah definetly wanna be in the low to mid 11's with your a/f at those boost levels.

You are crazy. Like I said to you before. DET's are strong motor but, they will blow just as easy.

Like Andreas said jump on some S4 cams and bring the boost to about 12 psi and you will make the same power without having to run so much boost. At 15 psi with some S4's you can get over 300 whp tuned right. We have done it many times.

Yeah I know Rob :/ Money kinda tight right now, I'm gonna pick up some STI Injectors and a new wastegate for now and run 15-16lbs. I'm really not beating on the car at all. I did last night for a bit, but that was the first time since it's been done and I had the a/f's to watch so I was safe. Usually I'll let off at 10-15lbs and not let it go up to high so I won't do anything bad lol

I read andreas turbo thread about different turbos and there efficiency and it said the gt28r was best at 15-18lbs I think. So I'm gonna stick in there, but maybe highway driving like back to school I'll turn it down.

The turbo doesn't seem like it has a problem either going like this lol i mean I'm sure it's bad but I can not tell lol I thought 12's were still alright though for a/f's? I though I needed to worry about like high 12's-13's would be the end lol

Also should I get new spark plugs, I'm running the BKRE6's and I'm gonna be getting a set of 7's from Greg.

im surprised it didnt pop running that lean and that much boost, the motor must have been smoking hot.

i wouldnt recommend doing that agian unless you want to replace the motor.

your way over injector duty cycle add in the heat from the turbo and your pressing your luck.

I upped the fuel pressure a bit, so it wouldn't be as lean. Definitely gonna be careful until I get my wastegate and injectors
