bluebird+nos
Hey guys,
I'm trying to find out from someone that has done it or anyone that has a good guess, lol. I have my nos kit from when I was na and I've been wondering if I can run a small amount on my turbo setup. Its a stock bluebird engine(t25), hotshot fmic, 370's, 3in exhaust, walbro fp, bluebird ecu, xs mbc 7psi low-12psi high.
I was thinking I can run stock boost, raise fuel pressure a little bit and run a 50 shot.. What do u guys think? Will it be faster if I just run 14psi on the turbo?
I have a race setup with a buddy of mine at the track, he has an 01 z28 with bolt ons. Lets just say the looser has to wear a pink thong down a public road. So I don't want to loose.lol

14lbs and the nitrous just make sure you tune for it.

I don't have a jwt ecu or any apexi neo or safc or anything.. What else can I do to tune 4 the nitrous? Do I even have enough fuel comin in with the 370s, walbro, and stock 3 bar ecu?

Has anyone on the forum tried this type of set up?

Nothing really. Unless you buy a Calum Tuned for X amount of NOS shot or a Jimwolf. your ecu just won't self adjust the fuel to work witht he extra air coming in.

I honestly don't know how it works being that in a Turbo car, with NOS you not always using Nos unless it's RPM triggered.

you should have enough fuel considering its a wet kit.......
it has a fuel solenoid right?

people run nox all the time without tunning for it, the maf doesn't have to adjust and add fuel, the nitrous kit is adding the fuel for you, just make sure you have the correct jets and, don't run a huge shot and you should be okay

Basically you are going to want to get something to tune your a/f's for 14lbs of boost or 12, whatever you want to run. Then after that your going to want to hook up the nitrous. If its a wet shot the shot may or not affect a/f's due to the extra fuel. You will want to retard your timing a bit and check the a/f's again to make sure everything is in check.

Equipment wise I'm running an e-manage and that takes care of all my needs. I wouldn't go with a jwt because of the non adjust ability for a/f's. The e-manage also has the ability to spray nitrous at a certain rpm window. Just do some research on what different products can do. An SAFC can do the trick but still leaves you with limited adjust ability. Basically make sure your a/f's are correct and retard your timing, you don't want to have detonation.
