Thread: Intercooler placement and straps

how do you guys go about holding your intercooler in place and pics would be awsome. Thanks

Mine has welded tabs on the bottom that bolt directly into the lower radiator support. (You need to drill holes in the radiator support to acheive this.) You can also weld a top brace to go where the hood release area is, to help secure it.

I personally feel the two bottom braces are more than enough, as the radiator will also share support from the intercooler piping. You'll see what I mean next weekend when you take a trip with me.

Yeah I just have it chilling right now I will see how you have it done. I will get my brothers friend to come weld it up if need be. BTW tekkie i bet your car is done already haha knowing them
