I LOVE THIS CLUTCH! The only draw back is the noise, and I am sure the wear is pretty brutal on the flywheel. At this power level if this clutch holds up it will be the best setup once again. Brian knows his stuff!
I actually did last night. The car didn't seem to run much different, but the exhaust got a little lopey and a bit louder. I am going to try some interesting things very soon!

Now this is where I want to focus spending some time on the dyno! The VET exhaust lobe is HUGE looking at it today! Speaking of which, I decided to do the baseline run with the standard VE cams instead of the VET cams. Since I am positive the 20VE cams will outperform the VET intake, I am going to start there. I just finished swapping the cams and I am feeling very good about this. I am about to take her for a spin with the VVL engaging at 5500rpm!
Then I am going to try swapping the VET exhaust cam in and see what happens to overall power and spool.
As fast as the car feels, it doesn't have the powerband I am looking for. It is very very peaky and just keeps pulling and pulling! That being said, I don't make much midrange torque. My buddy in his wrx with I/H/E and STI turbo on 19psi pulls on me hard in the midrange and I don't stand a chance until over 6500rpm. By then I have only 1000rpm of good pull and then I shift...right out of the power. Uhg. That being said, I feel like the car was barely making over 300whp. Not by much by the butt dyno. But man does it FEEL like you are motoring! The thing is a monster and the response is incredible!
