what manifold are you going to be running? Who will be making it?

Don't think you're going to see over 500whp on a 30r, on a 2L. (30r is rated to 525hp, not whp.) If you do though, you give me hope I'll be watching your threads to see how she comes out.

I will be selling my protech log mani with turbine housing and wastegate. The wastegate has 2 springs.

I am hoping for the best outcome here. I would like to make about 100whp more or so. I think this is reasonable.

Ditch the 30r and go larger I think that's more than reasonable, you could keep everything the same by going with just a 35r.

Look at the dyno graph. He is running a 3076r with the .78 AR housing. Unless he is using a t4 exhaust housing. A friend of mine made 567whp on his GT30R with an .82 housing on his civic.

I am building the manifold myself, with some help from some good friends I have met over the years. I am not the best welder, so my friend shawn will be doing all the welding. I will design, and help fabricate the manifold from beginning to end. I hope you guys are suprised by what I have in store .

I don't know anyone who will have a manifold quite like this, I am using SCH40 316 stainless. I can't wait.

Anyway, go check out honda-tech forums and you will see a lot of guys pushing well over the "rated" power that the turbo is rated. When I bought this turbo it was only rated at 495, now miraculously it's rated at 525.

Well damn the man! I just haven't heard many people push 30r's over 500whp, and shows how much I know about my own turbo :o I guess everyone that goes medium/large frame, and makes decent numbers, don't post about it...

I guess anything's possible. I was only looking to make 500whp on my setup, and that being the maximum at around 28 or so PSI.

I was actually coming back in here to recommend the s362 from BW. Spools faster than a 35R and makes more power. 650whp should be easy with an s362

I have thought about it, but the 35r is too much of a drag turbo on a 2.0L. I have yet to ride in a car with that turbo that is responsive the way I like it. The 35r would be decent on a 2.3L. But it is tempting. I figure if I upgrade again I will just go 40R with a divided t3 turbine housing. That way I will make tons of power on low boost.

When it comes to the turbine, Garrett can't touch the BW. BW turbos come twin scroll in a lot smaller sizes too. I have heard the response from these turbos is insane. Who knows, maybe I will try one someday.

Werd. I have actually given a lot of thought to going with a divided housing setup in the future, but I still don't know WHAT I'm doing next. I don't think I will do anything else to the B14, other than clean it up, and do some basic things. Only time will tell, I guess!

Good luck, can't wait to see what you come up with

Hopefully I get into the 500+whp VE-T crowd soon enough. It should be pretty awesome. I can't wait to get even baseline numbers!
