Iridium pllug gap?
For you guys running Iridium plugs in your turbo car. What gap are you running?

Also for the people who want to come in here and start a copper vs iridium vs platinum argument...please dont. Ive had them all and the iridiums actually run the best in my DET. So stay on topic.

I've run as high as .032 on mine up to about 23psi before it started breaking up. NGK BKR7EIX. They worked pretty good, until one of the ceramics cracked on one. lol.

I just had mine gapped to .025.

Question tho, one of the tips broke off. Just maybe a couple mm's and it was regapped down to .025. Is this bad??? Does the end of the electrode do all the work?

You will be fine, but plug life will be shortened significantly. The tip is iridium and is the part that sees the most wear. If the tip is broken off, it will still fire just fine, but won't last near the 100K miles that a new one would.

Yes sir. 23psi before it started cutting out. Of course this is a b14 with internal coil, not sure how the externals will handle that gap.
