Thread: Known cold plugs (NGK BKR7) with removable contact tip?

Bosch 8 heat range plugs have been great soo far. Just ordered 12 for my build just in case since nobody in town could even order them. lol.

I'm so glad this past weekend I've finally gotten rid of the Denso coils, and now I can use normal spark plugs again!

That's a bonus. I was just thinking to myself... BR8ES would probably work just fine.

Sorry for thread dig, just wanted to confirm Denso IK22/24/27 have the removable tip? only pics I can find have the normal contact and no confirmation they screw off.

and just to clarify: IK fits SR20 (14x19x16), IKH fits WRX/Evo and are a taller plug
(someone in another thread said they were using IKH24's)

And I got the Denso IK22 plugs. I don't know anything about the Denso IKH variety.

thanks for that. I kept clicking on links to fb photos but would always error. possibly due to using a phone.

I bought some Bosch's locally as a temp and to test fit. FR 6 DCX. cap unscrews.
Might get some denso's from overseas when I get the setup running.
