The way you do it is take the fuel rail out, put a towel underneath all of the injectors, then go inside the car and put the key into ACC but do not start it.

That will pressurize the fuel rail and it will squirt out if your O-rings are leaking.

In your case it might just be emanage because like you said it only happens on decelerations.

The way modern ECUs (including all our ECUs) operate on throttle closing is to first enrich the mixture to provide smooth off throttle behavior (no sudden loss of power) and then quickly move to completely cutting fuel to save on gas.

If the e-manage has a decel enrichment tuning provision then maybe you're in luck.

I hope it does, but i haven't noticed the option. I'll have to do more research on the emanage. Thanks Guys!

You just need to learn how to tune it. How much does your car backfire? I get one pop letting off the gas now and again but that's when I'm doing some spirited driving and its expected. This does not always happen and never happens when just cruising around town.

It backfires at all times during deceleration, no matter how you are driving. It won't stop back firing until you touch back on the gas or go into nuetral. I know the concept of tuning and how to go about doing it. I tried taking fuel out at 0% throttle but had no success. I don't know if there is a setting i'm missing but it really need to figure this out, it's driving me nuts

Mine does it on decel also. Not all the time, but sometimes much more than others.

I have an SAFC II, which setting is for the decel fuel adjustment that you're talkin about? Figure I'll play around with that a bit and see if it helps.
