Also I have notices about a 5-10 degree difference with running tap water vs. pure distilled water as well. There are some variances but when I checked the temps, the ambient air temp was about the same, same engine setup, same driving characteristics. etc etc.

Yeah I don't think a Nismo thermostat will be worth it for my DD then.

Now when I say idling, I'm not saying idling for half an hour, I'm saying less then 2 minutes when I pull into the garage or stand on a stop light hehe.

Oh man it finally hit me, that explains the added temperatures!

i have the godspeed radiator.. and it all worth it.. im turboed and with ac. cruising on highway at 80mph ac off temp at 165-175ish 105 degree weather, 80mph with ac on 180-195ish and fans on thats at a 105 degree day.. and see 200-212in city driving with both fans on. one 1200cfm for condensor another 2000cfm for radiator..

waiting in San luis mexico border to cross about 2 hours.. at idle fans on it stayed about 212 degrees ac on at 80 degree weather.. car has never overheated even with slowly leaking water neck hoses thanks tot hat radiator..

racing through autocross it was cooling at 175 at heavy rpm fans off at 80 degree weather...

my setup is
water wetter with destilled water and about 1 liter of anti-freeze
Godspeed radiator
170 degree stat
1200cfm flex a lite
2000cfm flex a lite- this is a loud fan

^Does the Godspeed radiator have about the same KOYO? How much did you pay for it? You have any pics with it installed?

^I was going to say something about distilled water. I'm going to run this in my car. Don't this water help against corrosion since it is untainted? How many gallons did you use?

your current turbo is not water cooled(if your still running the 18g turbo). Also you can't say that your car would not run cooler with out the turbo, but not as much fun to drive.

yea the godspeed is just like a older style koyo.. but it has 1 inch hose inlet and outlet.. you can buy the adapter to make it fit with your sr hoses.. but what i did last month i took the radiator to mexico and had them reomve the 1 inch inlet and weld in the 1-1/4 inlet iirc that was the size...

you can find them on ebay for 150 shipped and 3 year warranty..
