Internal Wastegate
So I believe my wastegate has gone bad, it's over boost to about 18-20psi and it's a stock gti-r WG which should be around 10psi. Anyone have any suggestions for a GT28R. It's clocked down, I duno if it matter's, but I had to drill out the gti-r bracket to get it to fit. I saw that ATP had some. I'm looking for about 7-10 psi one so I can just use my boost controller to up it. BTW my boost controller is not installed yet. If anyone has any suggestions LMK.

I found these. Anyone know if they'll work?

Does it hold 18-20 psi or just spike? I might be willing to trade one I have.

Get an external wastegate, I heard they can make some good power on the T28

It's kinda random lol it's not really a spike, it kinda stays. Chriscar told me to test it, via put 10psi to the vacuum line and see if the rod extends. I don't wanna do it again risking blowing my motor since I don't have the mods to support it right now. Stock MAF and 370s at 3 bar.

External is a no no for me. Not welding onto cast iron... Just don't trust it. I want to find a 7-11 stock and use it and turn the boost up with a controller.

If they know what they are doing its not a issue. I only trust a few people to do the mod and one is on this forum.

It is easy if you know what you are doing, but sadly I have seen ALOT of poor advice on how to do it on the internet which makes it harder than it is.
