gtir stock bottom end hold????
Will my stock gtir bottom end hold 350whp dd on 93octane and 400whp on race at the track?? I have already upgraded the head studs to ARP and head gasket to APEXI metal one, so the top end is ok, just no sure about the bottom???

btw the tune will be very good too

Well if the GTiR is the beast you say it is, it should. A stock USDM/JDM 9.5 will hold 350WHP for a daily driver. I say yes depending on driving habits.

The bottom end is where the gtir shines buddy, There are people making i think over 600whp on a stock gtir motor including the headgasket. of course on race gas, you should be good to all those numbers you want especially since there are people doing it on stock de motors. I plan to hit 400whp on this 150k mile de motor on about 21psi of boost. On race fuel 110 octane of course. should be 320whp on pump gas at around 14-15psi.

Neways yeah the gtir is a hell of a motor.

^I know a guy that is making 500WHP on a stock bottom end. I'm not sure of his fuel/e-management though.

The gtir has beefiest rods, crank, etc. of all the sr20's there should be no problem. Just make sure you have some good bearings basically the worst than can happen is you throw a rod through the block. Then you can just build a motor and not have to worry.

the bottom end is good for over 500whp with a good tune. You can even push a stock de over 500whp with a good tune. The 54c internals were the beefiest of any sr20 motor.

Hows the Avenir compare with this?

The avenir is a very stout motor in its on right and will handle probably the same thing. There is only some minor differences between the gtir block the avenir and bluebird blocks Most of the differences are in the heads.
