I believe the w11 and black top s13 motors also used 54c pistons but not the rods.

A Pulsar motor will take 400 whp without a flinch.

Id be more worried about those headstuds. They may work, they may not.

There is this guy I know, I think he tries to build headers/manifolds unno... haha

Anyway... Ask him about his build with his GTiR G20. I think it tipped over the 500whp mark

with a stock GTiR with cams. GT35R on over 20psi of boost.

The names. SNICKERS.

P.S. IF i know him correctly, he will post here.

Chris.

Charles made just over 500 on a stock motor with a t-67 T4 and DD it for a few months and did it again with a VET set up. I would not worry as long as you have a good tune a GTIR will make what you want without an issue.

I was making well over 500whp on my GTiR setup 4-5 years ago. It was about 500whp @ 22-23 psi and i was running upwards of 30-32psi on 114 octane. wouldnt get traction on the dyno above 22psi but she held for over 60,000 miles before a mis shift over rev. Never skipped a beat. I'd say the tune is the most important part but damn those motors are strong.

I want a GTiR now! What cams did you run Charles, or did you make your own ?
