size matters! i love my silence and thats why i havent upgraded to 3" but if you want quiet youll have to fit the biggest muffler you can i notice tons of people using 4x9 mufflers and 5x8 and complaining about noise if your going straight through you want atleast 5x11x22 or so oval along with the longest resonator you can stuff down the tunnel

if you can sacrifice a lil flow get the largest dynomax turbo muffler i belive its 5x11x20 along with the biggest resonator you can find and your car will be quiet

also make sure ur tip is not stuck behind your bumper that causes more noise and thats the only reason my car is audible at all right now but i have 2 1/4 exhaust 2 resonators and a dynomax turbo lolol to quiet my beast... talk about restriction!

My 240SX with 3" downpipe, 3" RSR Titanium exhaust piping and a test pipe was quieter than my SE-R with 2.25" piping and a cat. Heck, my TurboXS RFL BOV was much louder than my exhaust if you ask me! That turbo quietens things down more than you think. Just don't rev like a nut in the middle of the night, and be a responsible driver. Don't even worry about a resonator. If you use your cat, that'll help quieten the exhaust note down a bit too.

After much thinking I remembered what made me not want a loud exhaust, highway driving drone.

I went ahead and ordered the 2.5" catback without a muffler from Overkill Engineering Motorsports.

I will be attaching one of my own mufflers and seeing how that acts. If it's still not good enough then I will put in a Cut out right after my 2.5 downpipe.

Let me know how this works out for you! I have a WS2 at home + a 14" Magnaflow and was just debating ordering this piping kit to finish my B13 exhaust.

Thanks for posting that up, Was the install easy? Did everything line up pretty good? Im hoping for an easy install with my new WS2 Muffler & 14" Magnaflow resonator. Is the piping straight 2.5 mandrel bent?

Did any gaskets come with the kit or will they have to be purchased separately?

Hoping to install this over the weekend soon!

It was about medium difficulty. If I got my kit with the muffler, then the kit would be a piece of cake to install. I had to weld flanges onto my STI muffler and then weld a coupler etc.

It did come with a gasket for the Cat.

OK cool my muffler is currently on the car with the old HKS Piping so hanger wise I should be fine.

Thanks!
