Feels pretty great dude , Big difference but you need to do the right things, eg my buddies used a log mani and .63 a/r on their turbo and i told them it needs tubular and .86 a/r , when they did this BIG BIG Difference , the car woke up.

Oh and i just got familiar with you Sealti , my buddies has an awd gtir pulsar with standard sr20ve head and det block with je pistons, 6262 turbonetics and jwt ecu , car worked fine off Nitrous with a pair or proxes RA1's in front and with NOS it roasted 1st and 2nd, raced a 20b rx7 and cause probs, never getting in 3rd gear , prepared for him with a pair of mickey thompson 15'' slicks in front only and put the proxes in back , 1 launch and when 2nd engaged that was it , damaged 2nd , buddy just ordered a PAR gear Kit with Final Drive from Austrailia , the Jamaiacans use PAR Gearkit also with no problems , a local has broken countless PPG's so beware, Mazworx has that Pulsar GTIR right now and it still is giving probs,

You need to reinforce your Transfer Case like the Jamaicans or else it WILL crack.

What about the EVO transmission swap? I thought I heard about a GTiR that did the swap?

I have seen the par gear sets get destroyed @ 450whp on a fwd drag sentra.

I've always thought about making an adaptor for the evo trans but I heard there just as bad unless you build them up. I would rather build mine up, I'm pretty sure it can handle it. The teeth on these Nissan transmissions are way too small for hard launches with 4 skicky ass tires on hi boost..

I've been folllowing the Pulstar build(Jamaicans) really close, they had the same problems I'm having now.

I'm not sure about the evo boxes. I know they are a lot stronger than the 1G and 2G gear boxes. Those could take a pounding but they too would break. not sure how much your car weights but the evo's are around 3100lbs.

nope the evo mr 6 speed uses the same gears as the spec V does. Very strong gears and their are aftermarket billet gear options as well as straight cut and dog boxes. The gears are wider, larger diameter, and stronger. Especially the final drive. lol But yeah the par gearsets have been known to break as well. The GTIR's have weak cases that still allow gears to spread apart and break. The evo trans does not do that. 700awhp evos still using stock gears. Just dont wheel hop. Buddy did that in his, hit 2nd gear and wheel hopped and chipped a tooth on 2nd gear.

Also use a thicker gear oil if you wernt already. 85w140 Valvoline FTW

I never had a problem this until a swithed tires. I guess I found the limit for tires and boost on these gears..
