I know alot about the US Altima, I currently hold the record for fastest fwd U13 and I also know that is hard as all hell to make a regular U13 regular AWD. I know a guy in Nashville that made AWD Altima and he says that its hard because the frame changesalot from FWD to AWD. Basically a Bluebird just looks a like regular Altima but its completely different when it comes to drive train. I had the same idea a while back of making an Altima AWD but it turned out to be impossible to find real Bluebird drive train parts so thats why I decided to order the real car from Japan and I'm glad I did.

There is a little surface rust on the support bar in the front but the frame has no rust whats so ever, I find that to be pretty amazing for a car this old and from Japan. I would not say that its the easiest thing to get a car from Japan to US.

Finally got around to taking out the motor and trans so I can power wash the engine bay and swap the stock clutch for a twin disc.
