i dont know why more people dont use this type of set up tbh, its easy to do, and relatively cheap, will give all the fuel you'd need, I guess its because people have trouble understanding how it works and think it wont

messing about with swirl pots and lines everywhere is ott for a road car imho.

BMW e30s work this way from the factory and their OEM fuel pump system is good for 400 WHP. =]

i think what it is, is that some people struggle to understand that with the first pump feeding the second pump, the second pump has a much easier time....they seem to think that the second pump will not flow anymore than the first pump and the first pump will cause some sort of restriction...(dumb i know)

at least thats my take on it, when i've suggested it to a few people on uk forums and had some dumbass reply about it not working..lol

We fabbed an intank cradle for a true dual 255's in tank. they connect via -6 lines to a y-block into a single -8 to the rail.....we did it this way because we are running e85. It is possible that we might go to produce this but would need some heavy interest to go forward with it. There are not enough guys currently running e85 or making enough power to justify running this set-up though.
If there is interest in this please PM though so discussion can continue on this thread.
The bosch pumps are better for sucking then the a1000 pump though if your running an external sump system. Aeromotive recommends not going above where your fuel is feeding. You can be level with it/ below it is better. The bosch pumps can be higher and be alright. Also bosch makes pumps that are specifically for intank apps....
The difference with running one intank plus one inline is what fuel your running. Yes that supra might be fine with his set-up and make 1000whp but not on e85/98.
Thats why supra guys running e85 switch to sumped or a triple intank set-up with three 255's, two running constantly and the third kicking in as boost comes on.
Yes there some other issues that must be considered also like the line size, injectors, ect...
