Meth injection ( washer fluid )
I was wondering what everybody thinks of it ?? I have been thinking of throughing it in there as well ....here is the kit I am loking at

I have done numerous water-meth kits. They are well made, the AEM ones I mean. I like using the snowperformance kits personally, but the AEM one is good. I also normally plumb it through the factory washer fluid resavoir, just make sure the pump is gravity feed for the most part.....the pump can be even with the resevoir just not above it. Wiring is not bad and we have had great results on the dyno....

thats what I have been hearing ...can you transfer the low level fluid level sensor over as well ?? I think it might be a great add on for the car ...

Can this be used on SR20 runing NOS. How effective would it be?

it should be like water injection , only it supposedly has a progresive controller , and the meth adds more resistance to detanation

water/meth injection does two things really but because of one main reason. The methanol is alot higher octane which keeps the fuel from igniting before its supposed to if hot spots do exist when ran hard, Second it helps cool down the intake charge and cool the pistons. Usually you wanna keep it very cool so that it helps even more. Its just a good battle against detonation and pre ignition.

The guy making 572whp on a stock block rr which has weaker pistons than the regular de's could not have made that power without it, doesnt matter how good the tuning is, that much power makes a hell of a lot of heat, you need something to keep things cool and keep the intake charge cool as you can and keep the fuel from igniting before its supposed to.

Great tuning with water/meth you can make alot of power on motors that you really wouldnt think could do it. And that guy has been making well over 400whp for 2+ years now and still has yet to blow the thing.

I think you guys need to talk to JP because he its running plain methanol in his setup also he uses two nozzles and two big jets to get the power level he is making so its not so simple as throwing a water injection kit and call it a day...

i had meth injection on my old road car, worked well, like sniper says, i used the water resevoir, i had a float switch that activated a light when it got to about 1/4 full so i knew it wanted topping up,

I have run it, make all my own kits. McMaster Carr nozzles and solenoids, Shurflo pumps, custom lines and the AEM triggers the solenoids on. I ran it before off a greddy MSS on my JWT ECU, then I ran it off a greddy MSS with my emanage setup. I havfen't been able to run the AEM version yet due to the car not being done. The AEM kit is really nice. Very complete.

Experience with Snow Performance kit here. Other than not being progressive (only on/off. I know it's possible to do progressive) it is a terrific concept and works very well in real life. I'm always worried about adding things like water/meth, NOS, intercooler sprayer, etc. because it's another thing to fill up with and could possibly leave you lacking if you forget to fill up and run low or run out. However, filling with windshield washer fluid is extremely easy, cheap, convenient and advisable. The performance envelope of an engine can be expanded in the same way as running race gas, or E85, etc.

I don't have it on my car but Dan Martin runs it on his S13 and we've installed it on a customer's BMW with terrific results.

If you want more details they should be forthcoming.
