T28 oil and water feed locations?!?!
Im helpin a friend of mine upgrade his turbo on his b14, hes going from a t28 to a gt35, i noticed that the t28 water and oil feed lines attach directly to the front of the block via banjo bolts. He doesnt know for sure if its a DET block or not, the car was purchased already boosted. What we do know its a 53j udsm highport head.
Now i was looking at my JDM RR because ive never noticed these before, and i have a bolt in place where his water line attaches but no bolt that i can see for the oil, but its clear where the bolt should be there are threads...My question is what he have a DET block and highport head? or a usdm motor that the previous owner tapped the block at these locations?
thats where his water line attaches to the turbo, just above the nissan stamp...
I cant remember off the top of my head but i believe that second or third hole was where his oil feed was bolted to.
And here is where it was tapped for oil return, in that flat spot to the right of that bolt on the header.
Does anyone have pics of a the stock water and oil feed locations of a DET to help me get to the bottom of this?!?!
