-3an oil ine hose is a restrictor needed???
I am currently running a -3an stainless steel oil line form the front of my det block to my gt28r turbo. My question is do I need to run a restrictor or can i run without one? If I need one can i run without one for like a week without damaging anything or will it start to do damage right away?

I plan on selling this turbo within the next 2 months, so I need it in perfect condition, which it is( no shaft play ) and want to make sure I am not damaging it.

Thanks!

Run a restrictor. Don't risk it.

If damage is going to occur it will be very quickly.

Garrett turbos all have internal resitrictors and it's said that typically, with a -3AN line an additional restrictor is not needed. That being said, it really depends on the flow of your oil drain, and like others have said, it would be cheap insurance.

FYI: I have the same situation, and plan on going without a restrictor.
