GT28R Wastegate Vs. GT28RS Wastegate
I'm getting the GT2871R w/GT28R housing in a month or so , but which wastegate is the most desireable?

Are you talking about the actuator? Because if you are your going to have to ditch the gt28r one because the way its clocked it won't fit on a FWD sr20 motor . I am using a gt28rs actuator with a atp extension rod, which you will need and wolla! You will have a perfect actuator.

If you are planning on running higher boost all of the time i usually use the hks 1 bar internal actuator for a s13 and make a bracket to hold it on in a fwd car.

I like the turbonetics dual port actuator. It can be set to any pressure you want. You still will need the gt28rs bracket to make it work.

I will just go with the GT28RS bracket and actuator. I plan on going external at some point so it isn't a big deal. I just knew that one of them didn't work for fwd, just didn't know which one. Thanks guys!

Also, do those have an oil restrictor already? What size oil lines should I go with and what size are the oil feed/return on the DET block so I can order the right fittings. Which oil return flange should I use? What about the coolant lines? I am using all det solid lines right now...

GFD turbo coolant line kit = awesome.

a $4 restrictor fitting should be used. Better safe than sorry, and if the turbo has a restrictor built in, it's not going to hurt the flow of oil.

they do have a restrictor built in but I still run a external one.

Coolant line is solved, but what about oil supply and drain? I would like to get away from the hard lines.
