The only thing I did to the cars was build the motor. The motor was going to be put into my Blue SER. It ended up in the Drag car because Steven at Pacific damaged his motor while testing which was no fault of his as the sleeved dropped, to that point the fastest the car had gone was 10.3. With my motor the car eventually ran 9.4.

The motor was 8 to 1 compression 89mm pistons, Sleeved block, Crower rods, 32 pound knifedged crank, Ported head, Roller Rocker lifters, 98 rocker arms, grooved shims on evry rocker, JWT springs and retainers, S4 cams, stock intake manifold, stock TB, turbo manidold, Greddy T77. I did the alternator in the back thing which was the first time I ever built that for a car. I put the motor in the car. That was it for me.

Steven at Pacific performance tuned the car and raced the car. It was not his car but was built for a customer who lived in Antigua, so when he damaged his motor he asked for mine because he only had 2 weeks before the customer came to pick up the car. Which was right after it made the 9.98 sec pass at a Moroso event.

This was where my cross roads between turbo and NA happened. I feel if I had not given up my motor I would have been a turbo guy. Like I said I gave him the motor to help him out as he awas in a tight position.

The turbo, cobra maf, intake intercooler and plumbing came off the yellow car at asian perf. which ran a 11.98 befor going to Steven.
What ever happened to Steven?

That yellow car use to belong to David Detrick if I remeber corectly and the car never ran 11.98. The best it ran was 12.98 this is all from memory and I could be wrong

Those parts never went on the race car they went on a customers car. The race car ran a Haltec with 8 injectors.

Steven is living in Jamaica. He had bought an apartment complex cheap back in the day and renovated it and made a killing on the Apartments. He then dipped out as he had a kid and wanted to grow the kid up down there.

David left the car with me when he went back to Ja. It was somekind of trade with Steven, David and even John Brown said he owned it at one time.
Memory going too somewhere around there, 12.98.
I was told Steven had the parts. I was out road racing when all these exchanges went on.

Good for him, he is a good drag racer. Very agressive and good reflexes.
