Here is a couple videos of my firend tims car which has 1000cc injectors and dual walbro pumps with sock lines. One is inline and mounted toward the firewall under the car and the other is in tank. He has been running this set up for 2yrs with no issues. Well besides regular dsm issues like trannys. He runs race gas, these are his 2 first track events on the mt slicks. I think last time i talked with him he said he will most likely be running 1200's or bigger with a slightly larger turbo. I am not sure how to use youtube for links but i will try it anyway.

Honda boys have way more intake mani options.

IIRC the N1 mani's have 8 injector bungs on them. He does have a VE though I doubt he would want to switch from a O2 to a N1. If I were you I would just get slightly bigger injectors if I were you like suggested. Maybe the 1200's.

Also I like the song on that video.

The Mitsubishi guys run 4 bar, so if you run higher fuel pressure the 1000cc should be just fine. I know from direct experience that 1600cc injectors will not like to idle below 1800rpm, and the engine will be hard to start. This is where you need to draw the line between full race and streetable.

Have you done alot of tuning with Mitsu's?? You must classify what ecu you were runnin....DSM link actually works great with 1600's.... Were you runnin e85??? Cause 1000cc will not do for e85, well pending your power goals, also would recommend a rewire of the fuel pump. Did you still have your IAC? We get mitsu's to idle and run fine with 1600's.....our cars don't idle at 1800rpm, and the cars are perfectly streetable.....Just from my experience though, and this includes rediculous amounts of mitsu's, way more then sr20's.....

nissan crazy

you are going to be running a vet right?

Are you going to be running e85?

why not just run a n1 manifold, or at least the lower manifold. I dont know what manifold you are running currently. I wish i made my manifold from n1 lower 8 injector set up as the autronic will have no problem running them

Does someone know the best place to source a N1 intake mani???? I did not know this though, this N1 mani doesn't really help out us det guys though... If I personally needed more fuel i would probably just add the bungs to my o2 mani, and being on e85 I would run 1000cc primary with 1600cc secondary.....

Wow how much power are you planning on making sniper571? With driveline losses and such we figured tims eclipse was making 900ish crank hp last time we dynoed the car which broke way before we made max power(trans. go figure), and this is on a 2.3 liter at close to 50psi of boost. I know i am comparing a race fuel set up to a possible e85 set up which in that case larger than 1000's most likely would be needed.

I think greg v can get the n1 intake manifolds.

Im not running this set-up its just what I would run. But thats because Im not worried about the tuning aspect at all. Now yes I understand what your saying, but we had an EVO with dual rails 1000cc primary and 1600cc secondary, -8 lines 2.3liter, the works. We were going to max out the set-up on E98. On a 74mm turbo we would need this set-up at 50+lbs of boost. So happens we only got to c16 and 42lbs of boost. 1600cc injectors will max at 635hp (estimated) on our dynodynamics runnin e85/98, so yeah were around 750 dynojet or around 900 crank, which is comparable to your numbers. But this would be on e85, race gas is a different story and gives alot more room to play with.
So it somewhat is like apples and oranges for runnin corn or race/pump gas as far as what the fuel system/ injectors can do.
Im not exactly going for gas mileage on my set-up either, but I know I need not worry about runnin out of fuel.
