1600cc inj. ??? any body use them ...
Anybody ever ran them .....I am thinking of ditching the 1000cc ones in favor of tunning the car on 1600cc one so I dont run out of fuel ...if I do what I intend to do ....I think I am going to max out the 1000s just wondering what other opinions where ??

You will be fine on 1000cc my friend tims eclipse was on 1000's until it was making close to 800whp at all 4 wheels. The only way i would recommend them is if your hp goals are close to what the injectors max out at and or you plan on running e85.

i think the 1000cc would be good for around 550-575whp on e85 higher then that i would go with the 1600cc

well you should be fine if you are running pump/ race fuel. Im runnin 1600's on my set-up and they are a bitch to tune with for driveability, well with the AEM they were. I am also running e85, also you have to get a injector driver box for the 1600's....And if you were going to run e85 you are going to need more then just a walboro 255 pump for the power you plan on hitting. You would need twin 255's, or maybe a 255 w/ a bosch 404, or maybe an A1000, ect.... and at least -8an lines also with a aero FPR. E85 and 1600's basically your whole fuel system needs revamping. We will see in spring how well my set-up holds, twin intank 255's with 1600's and e85 with -8an lines..... I should be good for 600whp.

You could look at getting 1200cc injectors, no driver box needed and will give you some extra cushion.

When you reach 700whp and your already huge 1000cc injectors hit 100% duty cycle and your sure if I just had some more fuel I could make more whp then change them out. In my opinion gaining 200cc of flow going to a 1200cc injector is just a waste of time and will only allow you slightly more fuel.

Don't get 1600 because you will hate them, they open up like a garden hose. If you are looking for driveablity go with two fuel rails. It is very easy to tune and drivablity is easy to tune. Honda-tech is full of info on E85 and tuning and what not. I am going to run 750cc primary and 1000cc secondarys on my set up.

A waste of time, actually it will make a big difference....., nearly 126whp difference, this was figured if you run your injectors to 99% duty cycly, did not figure for e85....the numbers go down alot.

I would agree with you on this that for driveability 8 injectors with two rails is better, but not many nissan guys, fwd guys have the means of doing this. since no intake mani exists that gives us this ability, meaning you will need to fabricate your own, or pay for the injector bungs to get put in. Honda boys have way more intake mani options.

1600's are a bitch but my car has really decent driveability, yes we spent alot of time on those maps and settings in the AEM, but once dialed in they are fine. My cold start is still somewhat of an issue but nearly done.

There aren't many honda guys running twin rail set ups. Most just through on 1600s and pay someone to tune it, but remember alot of honda guys have deep pockets. If you aren't an experienced tuner or know what you are doing I wouldn't go with 1600. Mazworx quoted me like 300 for them to weld in bungs for a second fuel rail on my O2 mani.
