Looking at these maps side by side, it is evident that there is little difference between them. The differences seen are well within the testing tolerances set by our laboratories. When the maps are combined, the similarities become even more pronounced.


So this is given the same wheel design. I'm not a hater, I just don't believe in the rediculous gains from a machined wheel over a cast one. What I am saying, is it is going to be much harder to spin a bigger wheel, that flows more. Bigger means more lag, not just boost onset, but lag.

If I had to guess on why this makes more power, it would be because garrett runs small exhaust wheels that don't flow as much as the SC turbos. Anyone have the specs for them?

The 6262 exhaust wheel exducer and the GT35r exhaust wheel exducer are very close at least The 6262 its 62mm and GT35 its something like 61.6-.7 diameter what change its the inducer and design... actually the 6262 jb exhaust wheel its a Turbonetics wheel...
You will not find a compressor map for a billet turbo yet the only thing you will find is dyno and track proven setups period and for the price you can not beat it....
The new 6057 billet wheel its rated at 650hp and the size its comparable to a GT30R turbo...

Diferent desing on the comp wheel its the main diff coheed.

Worg warner have many diff titanium and billets wheels I have a cuple of them that I will try soon, will post some pics later...

This is one reason why I love the T67 comp wheel. it has a smaller major diameter so less moment of inertia and thus less power to get the wheel to spin up to speed.

yeah but its a bit more complicated than that or else every manufacture would just run big inducers and small majors. The angle from in to the major can play a big part in how the air is "flicked" from the comp wheel, which can result in better compressor maps.

I wanna know why the GT37 spools so slow compared to the rest when it comes with a T4 TS housing? Or did they run this dyno on a open housing?

I would love to try one of these turbos on my setup. How much are they? How is the transient response compared to the BB stuff?

Im already at 84% injector duty with 380whp, so this may be a bad thing getting something like this lol.

where is a good place to shop for turbos and find info on housing options for the borg warner and precision stuff. There is too much garbage out there...
