yea your going to want to get some injectors coheed. You don't want to buy a turbo then run out of fuel and gain only about 20hp.

Welll.... these are 740cc injectors. They should be ok to 500whp on 3 bar... I am not even at 400whp yet.

Apparently I have 450hp worth of air and fuel going in, but only 380whp coming out lol. pumping losses?

^What is this guy talking about in post #9? E vs S cover?

FS: Precision SC6262 Turbo - Like GT35R - Honda-Tech

^Also. Do they only come oil cooler? What about water? What are the options with that? I was looking to do SC6262-T3-a/r.63

^Anybody know about the E and S covers and if it is best to go oil/water cooling or just oil? I know I want it in a journal.

On my sc61 its just oil cooled.

E cover its .60 A/R will help for spool and response will sacrifice some top end...
S cover its .70 A/R comes plain, bullet hole or machined anti surge more lag but more top end... Most result you will get over the net are with the bullet hole S cover....
Ball bearing turbos are the ones that comes oil/water cooled I dont know if they make water cooled JB bearing housing but maybe they have to be special ordered since I have seen those housings before...

You can order JB in either oil cooled, or oil/water cooled. The BB comes only in oil/water cooled IIRC.

Thanks for clarifying the E cover and S cover, Payu.

Sounds like the option Reese would be looking for would be the S cover.

This is wrong, compressor housing size does not affect spool.

It also makes a minimal impact on HP since they typically change the radius and keep the area roughly the same. The reason for running different size A/R's is because with a smaller A/R, the efficiency is increased at higher boost levels due to less compressor power needed to fill the area of the compressed air exiting the housing.

A larger A/R helps the surge region of a compressor for lower boost applications, which is why the larger A/R housings typically have the anti-surge housings.

I've felt the difference in compressor housings. The larger housings were more fun. They hit harder.

Power may not be affected, but spool def felt different.
