ATP External Wastegate Turbine Housing
I've haven't seen these in person, but I've herd of some Subi guys using it and it works good. how well? i dunno, but I think it's interesting.

Special Turbine Housing T25-EWG-44: atpturbo.com

edit: after looking at it more, it will hit the radiator

running the wastegate off the housing is the best way to control boost. I cant comment on the quality of that particular product though

looks like a good quality product, but it wouldnt hit the radiator in a b13 or b14 it would be hitting the block on avenir or gtir manifold

Yea, and it'll hit the strut tower on the s chassis'. Not sure who they targeted with this.. maybe audi??

I heard tial was coming out with a lower profile designed wastegate. Who knows.

Ahh this is the one you were talking about. I also am wondering what car this is designed to fit on. For fwd the wastegate would hit the block and for rwd it would be hitting the strut tower.

ATP makes some really nice stuff. The are a Garrett Distributor. I get stuff from them time to time. Those turbine housings they have been working on for 3 years now. They were designed for the Subie guys that dont like going to HUGE turbo's. The smaller T25 style housings on larger motors have big problems with boost creep because you cant dump enough exhaust gas flow efficiently where the W/G hole is placed. They made a housing like this in the Subaru bolt on type and then I believe they changed it to a T25 4 bolt style. This housing could fit in a S chassis, you may just need a 90 deg piece of pipe and a spare V band for a tial 44.

This is a nice looking housing although the only way I could see it possibly working is on a top mount setup or with a custom manifold. There would be no chance of running this with a stock fwd or rwd manifold due to the obvious clearance issues.

I was just thinking the same thing. Even using a flat deltagate won't work. You will hit the fans / radiator for sure.

wont it hit the block though... if that's a t2 housing isn't the wastegate side facing the block and not the radiator?
