While we're critiquing the manifold, hachee1, can you feel around past the turbo side flange and let us know if there's a big "step" anywhere. Basically, does the exhaust run into any walls right before leaving the collector area and entering the turbo? I've seen this mistake before.

Ben do you mean a lip on the inside, because the turbo flange wasn't blended in? I felt around and it was blended pretty good, not super smooth, but as good as a grinder can get...I'll end up polishing it out real good.

a close pal of mine runs the t3 3076 on his gtir, was heading for the 10's before disaster struck , car is out for the count at the mo with almost 5ks worth of broken ppg gearset (case split)

turbo looks great for a direct bolt on

Kieron, that is a SR20VET motor, with 20V valve cover with 20V intake with N1 TB. It has 850cc top feed injectors on it. The stock VEt 480cc yellow top feeds are on my SR23VE.

The VET manifold was welded in some areas then hand ported. The extrude honed then Swain Tech coated then I cheated and put BBQ high temp black paint so it looked stock.

The turbo was extrude honed, swain tech coated and then BBQ paint to make it look stock again.

That's good enough. I've seen much worse. Like the person who lined it up was blind, or the holes weren't the same shape/size to begin with so there's no chance.

Yeah, there not to shabby. I have a couple ideas on the ports, to have a smoother flow...I just have to see if the walls gets thin from me grinding and blending.

I dont think so. Everyone bought the RWD ones and tried there best to make them fit on the FWD motors.
