I was going to get a larger heat exchanger like the one nissan crazy listed, but mine seemed to work fine for how much water i had in the system. My total system volume was 5 gallons.

I used a jabsco pump as well i had the pump for 3 years with no problems wired ona toggle switch. I like the fact that their pumps are brass and rebuildable, you just thread in the npt fittings of your choice and go. Alot of the other brands pumps just seemed cheap to me, and not very robust.

I didnt care much about the ac in my nx, 90% of the time i drive it i have the t tops off, and usually leave them at home. So i ditched the ac as soon as i went turbo quite a few years ago. One thing i always wanted was a low temp water temp gauge, or 2 air intake temp sensors to see what the temp was before and after the intecooler and see how effective it actually was.

Water to Air Intercoolers at FROZENBOOST.COM

Not the best source of info, but it highlights some info.

Interesting. I was thinking these would hook up to the stock cooling system. Initially with that thought it didn't seem like running hot coolant through one of these would be a good idea for performance. So i'm guessing the intercoolers have their own sealed water supply?

Some are a loop such as a radiator would, where the only "reservoir" is the radiator and the loop itself. Some have a seperate reservoir like a fuel cell that holds extra water. I have a Jaz 1 gallon reservoir that I can throw ice and fresh water in at any time.
