Thread: Thoughts on this turbo ....

I already have the other two at my disposal ....I really dont want a third , mayby send one in to be improved though

Everyone seems to hate the 3076r on here? I have no problems with mine. Boost onset could be better, but there is no way I would make my power goal with a 3071r. If someone can show me a decent sr20 dyno chart with a 35r it would be nice. The cars around here with the 35r are too laggy. even the 2.5L STIs around here don't see full boost till over 4K. Good drag racer turbo, bad for street. I have said it before, I'll say it again. The 76r is the biggest turbo I can stand for a street car. If my turbo got any laggier I would hate life.

The 3082r seems good, but it is more laggy than the 76r, and can't make much more power. People still make over 500whp with it. Perhaps the 35r would be better if it were twin scroll?
