well at this point i'm thinking that i need to get a new ecu and wiring harness, tear the car apart and start from scratch again...any advice?

OK, the file you sent me was deffintly NOT programed for the Z32 maf. I changed that around because it was setup for what looked like 3bar 520's and some other maf. I can send you the .bin I redid if you wanna try it? I also just got a chip before I went realtime for 3 bar, n62, 520s if you want that. I also redid the bin to 4bar. LMK man I think you got your Maf all wacked up on the bin.

Where have you been the past 3 months...hook me up. Looking for n62 maf, .3 bar 520's. I have a moates.

Nissan datascan results.

I have a problem with my maf circuit, the air flow drops down to 0.06 sometimes at idle and sometimes it stays at 1.45. Also my timing is jumping around like crazy sometimes up to 25. other than that everything else seems ok. injectors stayed almost constant and the car is running super rich still. I have a datalog for anyone that wants to take a look.

Just got my ecutalk cable, I love this ****.

ok, likethemovies, YOU have the wrong bin for the n62. I was getting a code for my maf circuit and the car was running lean under throttle until I switched back to my old .bin, and now the maf reads the correct voltage and doesn't throw a code, but I still have this situation with my dizzy.

intermittent spark on all cylinders.

I went to radioshack and bought some 1/2w resistors just so that i could test the resistance on them to see if they were even close to the same as the one that I pulled out of the distributor harness. They were pretty close so I'm thinking that the resistor in my harness is fine. I'm going to check the coil on the dizzy andreas sent me and see if it's any good. I was very disappointed that he didn't test it before he sent it and I think he sent me a bad one. That's my only option at this point. Everything else seems to check out.


I have NDS now, although I'm not very familiar with it yet, so if there's some kind of test i can run or something i can log let me know and I can post a screenshot or something.

The file I sent you had the MAF that I am running which is Z32, I duno how it could be wrong man.

Could someone please send me a bin that has the Z32 MAF that they know for a fact is correct.

don't know what to tell you bro. The vq map you had on there was not the one that is on rom editor under vg30.

On the other hand I pulled out the ol' fsm again today and went through the dizzy that i got from andreas. Turns out the coil is ok, it had over 1.0 resistance. The power trans checked out ok as well. I checked the CPS wires according to fsm the #3 and #4 terminals, which are the two center terminals in the 6 wire harness and they were supposed to be at 2.7v I got 2.5 on one and 0.3 on the other. I ran my multimeter to the motor grounds when i checked each wire. So i'm guessing miko did send me a bad dizzy (hopefully by mistake, he's a stand up guy.)

Am I on the right track here...

Tekkie said his car did this when he had a bad cps, that's what got me thinking...hmmmm

Isn't VG30 the maxima? Or am I wrong? and you you check to see if the numbers I sent matched anything.

that's a good point but the vg30de is in both cars. the vg30dett is the turbo motor in the 300zx's. In Rom editor you can go to edit:function:replace vq map:z32 vg30dett
