Thread: Protechs went up!!!

To all you people expecting to spend $1100 plus shipping for a protech equal legnth manifold coated give that Idea up! I called up Bruce and spoke with him and he said that the price on the Equal legnth would be $1400 not including the coating because the price of materials went up. This makes me sad cause I was ready and willing to spend $1100 on a manifold and have the cash to do it. But now I cant justify it It would come out to $1600 which is to close to $2000 for me.

Can anyone build me a manifold that is equal legnth for under or at $1100 that will clear an S housing turbo?

call cody ..at lovefab , he might be cheaper , or them boys up in Minnasota made a nice one .....you want under 1100.00 with a downpipe I am asuming ?? it is going to be hard.....

NO!! Im willing to spend $1000 with NO downpipe. Just teh manifold.

Here in Drag race Country weve got alot of places Ive heard about the work from but Ive never actually SEEN any of it in person. If the track was still open id look around and see who had there stuff made where. But at this point im stuck with out of town places.

1000.00 without downpipe sould be do able .....

I can get the downpipe made by my boy who does my welding here. But he doesnt seem to enthusiastic about building me a manny so It looks like Ill need to get that from somebody else. Got pictures of your lovefab? Do you have the sidewinder?

Sr20 forum is down right now. Probably because it sucks and is slow. But WOW that is a beautiful manifold!

Does the guy still make them? I read somewhere that hes not making them anymore

the original , as far as I know he does not ....I was over there today , and talked to him about making me a few log manifolds, I can ask him about making somthing else , the other manifold that is really hot is his SST it is the one that was on juns car when it was in SSC ( sport compact car ) but I have thought about asking him about making a UEL , similar to the one that Pro Tech made for Manny , a few years back for a cheaper VET alternitive I would call him but it is a bit late check out motorports. fabrication. lovefab and the nissan apps for the SST and for pics of juns car as it is on there ....also

^^^You know I looked at that manny and didnt think twice about it! Now that Im looking at it again that might work! But the question is can I get it with a VE flange instead of the DE flange and will it clear an S compressor housing.
