so i did some reading and i guess the oil psi im seeing is normal for a det and ve. so now im thinking the restrictor orfice(however you spell it) maybe be to big or something. ill check my drainage but i know it all good on that side. im using the stock det banjo bolt with the built in restrictor

the orifice size for a garrett ball bearing turbo is .035. The one built into the stock line was designed for a journal bearing so it must be around.060-.065.

yea, i figured that much (minus the numbers). but what should i now do? if i put in the .035 fitting on, on top of the det banjo bolt im sure damage may be done. what do you suggest.....

I would ditch the hard line and use a ss line with the correct restrictor. You will need some extra fittings at the block to make this work. Before you do any of this pull the turbo off the car and clean it out. Then pour some oil in and see how it drains. You may have gotten trash in the line which is causing this problem.

then add a .035 restrictor and your good. If you have not killed the seals on the turbo already.
