A switch ? Nice but why not use a fan-controller ? I have a HKS fan controller, which is in 1 word: fantastic. I have it wired to the ECU and the fans kick in at 96 C and switch off at 92 C. Works perfectly.

Do not mention the other forum overhere....
Long story. Now for your question: try creating more current of air by removing the rubber strip where the hood closes near the windshield. It works and lowered my underhood temps by 5 C.

That's a nice touch, but I wanted my fans to come on and stay on to cool the car down between runs. that controller does sound cool but you can beat the $10.00 cost of my setup.

Well I found out my timing was at like -30 degrees, so i think that was causing my issue because ever since then the car might reach 200, but once the fans kick on the temp goes down. I also still think I might have a tad more air in the system to bleed.

Thanks guys.

Damn that's a good idea! I hadn't ever thought about that.

btw I find this board to be a little more advanced then the other sr board? Is this true?

I wouldn't say it's more advanced, btw.

This site is just a little more active in some areas. The other site has a very large tech info library with tons of useful information.

Yeah, your definitely right about the tech/library parts. I just think I like it better here, but will never stop going to the other spot, thats where I learned everything I know about sr's, Although lately nobody really helps me on either board. My problems are always ones nobody has a answer too
