Thread: Who here has run nitrous with a Turbo??

Im debating running a 50shot on top of my boost to keep stuff cooled down but at the same time make more power. Anyone have first hand experience with that?

I have never done it with my car but, many of my friends have. As long as you are tuned right it works amazing.

Most of my family back home have built race cars. They run huge amounts of boost with a big shot of drugs behind it.

As for as SR20's my boy Gio back in the days ran a 75 shot wet on a T-25 that was at 14 psi. Talk about a torque monster.

Yo I knew you were going to chime in. Im throwing a 50shot on the car then! Im going to start with the 65shot fuel pill with a 55shot nitrous pill and detune the A/F's to be around 11.0 and see where I need to tune from there then

you just cant have enough can you johnny, haha go for it. its gonna be torquier than hell thats for sure.

Honestly its the easiest and cheapest way to upgrade my car without having to upgrade it if that makes sense lol. If I throw cams in Ill need to upgrade my injectors from the 50lbs since theyll max out (they are only good to 350whp as you know) and I cant run them at 4 bar. If I throw more boost at the car ill have to upgrade the injectors(tried already and the inj maxed lol). Hell If I do anything Ill have to upgrade the injectors. But with nitrous, all Ill have to upgrade will be the timing and the fuel map and my pressure plate and walla! Ill have a car that can haul ass on just the turbo and then if I really REALLY want to get nasty I can killem with the dope!

my Friend Chris is running a 55 shot on a T25 setup. I bet it would pull hard as hell if the clutch wasnt slipping like crazy.
He hasnt had any problems thus far.

Everybody seems to do it on a T25 which makes since. Well see how it feels on a bigger turbo with an External Wastegate at 16-17lbs!

I might try a 50 shot when I step up to a Holset HX35. Anyone have any suggestions on the best rpm to introduce it on stock internals?

**** with a 50shot you can spray it off the line. Thats why im not going above a 50. I used to kill v8's with a 50shot off the line! Instant tq with the big turbo balls up top.

my new clutch in next week and throw it up on 14 lbs and shoot it with the 75 jets.
