twin scroll on an undivided manifold with a valve....
going on from AEM's twin turbo idea i was looking at sequential turbos and found this picture on google :-

followed the link to a honda fourm the idea was to have all the exhaust gasses going to one side of the exhaust housing then at a certain boost level the other side opens.. acting like a sequential turbo.. there was also a link to a supra fourms where a company had made one and tried it and it seemed to work really well

now there kit is like $699!! which is extreame to me for what is just a valve.. but i just wonderd if anyone had any thought weather it would be actually benifitial say on a GT35R with divided housing if it helps pick up that much mid range surly its a good thing? anyway just throwing it out there for people to have a look at if its been put up before then thats okay

hehe. i dont see how that can make more power or boost quicker.

edit and how would control boost levels with the wastegate being circulated into the turbo.

^^^ you would need another gate for boost control

Looks like a novel, decent design to me.

I'd only caution the use on FWD cars, as big turbos and slow boost onset are the friend of traction.

^^^ what he said. Sometimes having a later boost onset can help with traction on our wrong-wheel-drive cars.

Looking at the dyno graph it's easy to assume full boost is seen 500 rpm sooner.

It's basically a two-step A/R ratio now that I think about it.
