GTIR Harness and SR20DE Harness
I get phone calls all the time, with people looking for a GTIR wire harness. You guys dont need to use a GTIR harness. A standard SR20DE harness will work just fine.

Lets look at the 91-94 SER Harness and how to install it on a GTIR motor.

1. Change injs clips to top feed inj clips.

2. Switch position of the outer wires of the TPS. The 12 volt and read wire are in diffrent positions for the GTIR Vs the SR20DE

3. Get 4 drop resisters and put them inline on each inj. ( They go on the ground side ) Can be found at JWT or Radio Shack ( 6.8 ohms 10 watt resister )

Thats is your done plug up you GTIR ECU and role out.

This has nothing to do with plugs matching up. Its about using a SR20DE harness to run a GTIR ECU on a GTIR motor

If you are talking about the purple plug it can be found in the junk yeard and it goes to the grey plug which is next to the brown pug on the SR20DE harness. Generally when you buy a GTIR motor the plugs you need are on the GTIR motor to make the swap complete.

That is the easy part.
