Thread: S14 with SR20 or KA24

So does that mean you know what he's putting down?!?! C'mon spill the beans!

Before i bought my b14 i had a s13, and i can honestly say i was KA all the way, and i was as anti SR as they come and that couple grand to swap in a stock SR was out of the question when i could boost the KA for the same amount of money and put down more power. That old saying "theres no replacement for displacement" is true. More displacement->bigger turbo->more power! Not to mention that with the KA the s13 has a almost 50/50 weight distribution, it handles great. Granted now that my s13 is gone and im in the fwd game now i have developed a certain respect for the SR, for it is a great motor, and no one here can deny that or u wouldnt be here. But if i was get another S13 and i plan to in the future, im building the KA. Just my .02

These cars run on the streets for money. So that info is kept quiet. A lot of guys lurk the forums looking for info.

Keep in mind these dudes are not betting a tank of gas. I am talking big money.
