El oh el. I went from draw thru to blow thru last year and I noticed no difference, and I DID NOT HAVE TO TUNE ANYTHING. It fixed some other issues I was having, but I don't know if there was any difference in power though.
You shouldn't have to retune anything when changing from one to the other. Sure, more power could be made if it were leaned back out, but at what compromise? If you adjusted the fuel pressure to lean the mixture out then the car would prob not want to run at all at idle. how many people have had to retune for this kind of setup? Are you guys just not happy with the results?
I'm feeling a lot of hate in this room because people just aren't happy with the results we got.
Maf placement on his setup was exactly where I have mine right now. He drove the car to the dyno with the blow thru setup. I really would like to see someone else post results and their setup.
I can't believe how many of you are saying "you need to tune it" when there is noone here using any sort of engine management other than a computer flash... Wow, that makes a lot of sense. If it made that kind of difference, then everyone would have Bin files out for blow thru.
JWT tunes all their computers using a pull-thru setup, they recommend against blow thru.
