Thread is bogus. Needs to be deleted not to mislead folks. I had my t25 setup on a calum basic running blow through and the wideband showed 11.5:1 at WOT. I doubt at 9psi, my car was running as crappy as your test. Apparently, the low whp I had because of blow through still allowed me to walk a camaro ss and maintain with a c6 corvette. This was even on a 60mm catback with 3inch dp.

from my experience the de-det maf does not work well in a blow through setup because where the sensor sits in the housing, but I have seen some cars that run fine with this setup. If you go blow through you should use a newer style maf like a N62 or n60. These maf's have the sensor sitting in the air flow so it passes over the sensor and out of the housing.

I will have dallon post his charts. Take everything with a grain of salt. On this car, on this setup, the pull through made the car incredibly faster. I have a Z32 maf on my car and I will test the diff on that one as well. But unless you guys go to your local shop and post up your own charts, you won't know which one makes more power...

On blow through the car ran too rich to make power.

if it's a t25 it won't hold boost anyways haha doesn't mean the turbo is bad. And your telling me my 213whp blow thru on 7psi is wrong? Even with 10psi he should be having more hp.

Is the turbo supposed to make screaching noises when you hit boost? You obviously don't trust my judgement so I will let the dyno charts do the talking.

We hooked up the boost controller and raised boost as far as it would go. Turbo would not push more than 10psi, even with the wastegate disconnected

if it ran too rich...than it should have been re-tuned to make better numbers. the comparison numbers are innaccurate without the setup being tuned properly. ofcourse its going to run less effectively tuned for a different setup. tune for blow thru, then tune for draw thru....then post numbers. at this point you are comparing apples and oranges.

How many of you have retuned your car since you went blow through? I didn't. Search every thread on here about a blow thru setup. How many people say you need to tune for it? None. This was a simple test, and we did it for the sake of science. This was about as simple as it gets. All we did in between the dyno runs was change the maf placement. That is it.

I will test again on my car to see if it makes any difference in power and AFR. I urge anyone else with access to a dyno to try the same thing and post their results.

Agreed, I haven't seen any threads that said that I need a new tune for blow through setup. If there was such a thing, Calum would probably ask you for which setup BIN file to send you or to put on a chip for your ECU.

Whats up with all the disbelieve in here? Someone does something that's outside of the box and gets flammed on?

I personally think there might have been something wrong with the maf, for where pressurized air might have been escaping. But if the Boost gauge read 10 PSI or say 7 PSI on both setups and the boost gauge is connected to the Intake Manifold, then there is something else.
