All the guys listed on the SR20VE-T setups are straight up on the cams.

All you need to do is get a manifodl made. I bet you see an increase of 60-80 WHP on your setup with the new manifold.

^Who is this Bruce guy SE-Rican spoke of? That manifold is pretty hot. I thought about settling for a log, but gotta have a tubular manny. They look some much better and flow better.

I have seen a lot of nice tubular manifolds from a lot of companies and individuals.... tubular is the only way to go.

Even a tubular manifold with very short runners, unequal length, but with a very nice merge collector is better than a log. Anything to merge the exhaust flow as smooth and as fast as possible is the best.

Has anyone tested the 20V cams on a turbo motor? Seeing how they seem to make the most low end power NA, they should make a lot of power and spool the turbo very fast on a turbo setup. I have only ever seen VET turbo setups with standard sr20ve cams and sr16ve cams and would be interested to see the comparison with the 2002 sr20ve cams.

The down pipe is not included. That is a additional charge. Bruce (Pro-Tech) will be making it for me as well. Like Andreas said he work is just flat out amazing.

I will ask Manny if he has any pics of his old manifold.

Yeah count me in...

I went with stock cams, -2 +2, a really basic tubular unequal lenght, and i can tell the VVL hits hard all the way to the rev limiter.

Here is a vid, this was on 9.5psi and high 10's AFR. Dont mind the stupid wheel spin on 1st and 2nd, look at it on 3rd.

Tubular is the way to go on VVL, period.

^Thanks.

P.S. I know you don't want to give away to much on your project, but are you running a GT30, or GT35? I ask because I was wondering if a manifold with the runners a little bit shorter would benefit a lot more, or would one like this work just as well. Forum member Naghebe told me that he has used Protech several times and they do great work. Seems like this is the way to go.

yeah a guy down hear is

he made 300rwkw's on 12psi with a 2.2litre on 98 ron which is a stupid figure by our standards, car runs a gt3076r .63 t3 flange

this was also just the run in tune so its quite limited tunning wise, but is stll making more than most det's do with the same turbo at 20psi on our dynos with our fuel. car will have another 1000rpm put into it and 10 more psi later on when everything is sorted.

dyno is about half way down

the 20v's have a lot more overlap on high lobes 57 deg i think it is, however i have spoken quite a bit with the guy who had a lot to do with the build up of this car and he said he tuned a lot of the overlap out, i dont know if that ment he *stuffed up* the cam timing on the low lobes. Would actually like to see a degree card for the 20v's
