Thanks for pointing that out to me. Although that statement is taken out of context, so let me explain here. I was saying the quality of the knock-off rotors should be fine, and wouldn't cause a safety issue. The suspect money trail issue still exists, and I'll go edit that post to clear things up.

You must be new here to the SR20 community. We are not a rag-tag bunch of random hooligans who support whatever it is everyone likes. We actively snuff out bullshіt like street racing and buying knocks-offs because they ruin our community and our beloved hobby. If you don't like it, you can look forward to a world of misery here.

There are countless other members here who only have one car, and/or can't afford to get it running properly with the best/newest parts available (myself included). They don't go buying knock-offs though. You're not special.

Yes. There is. But if you don't care what I think, stop asking my permission.

Apparently you think so.

I've been a part of this community for a long, long time. As far as I know, it hasn't changed. You won't fit in here with your current attitude. Trust me.

In the interest of full disclosure (to avoid the inevitable shіt storm) I'll say there is a Chinese tuner product I do support, which is the intercooler. I believe the name-brand companies are, and have been from early on, involved in price fixing. Also, I could easily argue the Chinese intercoolers are not knock-offs, and those companies do some R&D.

As some of you may know, I've been called Mr. eBay by some forum members, but I will tell you that I would NEVER buy a Turbo of eBay that was being sold by some Chinese or not reliable source.

Like Coheed has mentioned, that his buddy sells good stuff, I would buy a Turbo from a person like that, but not from SS Autochrome, etc.

The Only SSAC product I ever bought is the header, nothing else.

I didn't bother even buying a Walbro Fuel pump off ebay because I'm scared of getting a fake and blowing up my DET.

Things eBay is good for:

Intercooler piping
FMIC
MAF Adapters
SSAC header (depending on which knock off makes it though)
Knock Sensors (If from a trusted source)
Tires (No first hand experience on this one)
LED Bulbs (You will go through a few, but they are too cheap too care)
Decals
Rice Cans
Neon Lights
Hood Scoops
Roof Scoops
Trunk Scoops (for ventilation to the body in your trunk)
Rice Spoilers
RIMZ

As you see I kinda wondered off there, now I have purchased some specifics of eBay,but from companies like RockAuto, Summit Racing, Magnaflow. So basically not the Chinese knock offs.

true I rock the cheap ebay ic and have for a while, but I also used to have a hks ic before that. It just was not big enough for me. So there are somethings to had on ebay that are cheap and reliable. I just would not buy a no name turbo or a manifold that is sold for $63.00. Ever one should remeber that anything you build is only as good as its weekest link.

yes vadim does buy a lot of stuff off ebay, but even after several arguments with him over aim, he always somehow manages to justify himself at the end.

I'm actually finished. I've made my points. Anything further would just be re-stating what I've already said. I know I'm known to beat a dead horse but I do have a limit.
